Unfortunately, Duchess' reproductive system has shut down, so she is now retired. Duchess is currently with Christie Brier in Indiana keeping Christie's old stallion, Chisums Hollywood, company through his semi-retirement. Duchess may come back home in a few years to live out her retirement here. Christie and I both dearly love this mare and are happy to have her share her retirement with both of us.
Duchess is truly an amazing mare. She has such an incredible temperament and willing to please attitude. After searching for years, I have finally found and been able to purchase a daughter of Duchess! Her influence will continue to live on through her daughter, SR Steel Ms Destiny.

Xclusive Bulldog Princess Sasha "Sasha"
Lilac Tri Merle | Female | AKC English Bulldog | September 17, 2018
Sasha is the cutest English Bulldog you'll ever meet! Sasha and I actually share a birthday! How cool is that? She is a Lilac Tri Merle, which is not an approved color of the AKC, but that's OK. We love her regardless! She's not a typical looking Merle. Her body merle markings are very faint, but she has the cutest light merle ears! How could you not love this squishy adorable face?!
Sasha is spayed, so no puppies will be expected from her. Sasha may look big and tough, but she's actually quite a little chicken. Her greatest enemies are: shadows, slick floors, and things that move that she thinks shouldn't. Sasha's favorite things are: rope toys, eating, sunning on the porch, car rides to MiMi's house. |

Badgers Last Jean "B.J."
Bay (EeA?) | Gelding | AQHA # X0727501 | April 08, 2017 | 9.38% Peppy San Badger
Dual Peppy Que X Bouncy Marathon Lady
www.allbreedpedigree.com/Badgers+Last+Jean 12.5% Lemacs Peppy Que | 12.5% Boston Mac | 9.38% Peppy San Badger | 8.79% Three Bars | 6.84% King Bay - Ee A? 5 Panel Negative AQHA # X0727501 B.J. is one of our very first home-bred foals! He was the only foal we got out of his sire before he was sadly lost to colic. B.J. is very friendly and is personable. We have plans to break B.J. to pull a wagon. B.J.'s name has special meaning. He was born on my grandmother Norma Jean's birthday, and he was the last and only foal we got from his sire, who we called Badger. His name "Badger's Last Jean" is a play on words for essentially: Badger's last genes. His name honors both my grandmother and Badger. |

Hershey
Chestnut (ee??) | Mare | Grade | January 01, 2000
Hershey is the second horse I took in as rescue in summer 2022. Hershey came from the same individual that Skippy came from, although I was not able to get them on the same days. I picked up Skippy on June 4th and had intentions of bringing Hershey home with me, but the man decided to keep Hershey. I was not able to convince him to let me take her home that day, but he did finally call me on July 31st and ask me to come and get her. Unfortunately, Hershey had barely gained any weight in the 2 months that had passed since I picked up Skippy. The good news is that Hershey is recovering very well and gaining her weight back very nicely. She is an incredibly sweet mare! She is very gentle. The previous owner said she is safe enough for children to ride. We will see if she will ride well enough once she has regained her weight. Hopefully she will remain the gentle soul that she is, and maybe move on to a home where she can make some children very happy!
Once Hershey has fully recovered, she might be available to a new home! Check back soon for more progress updates! |
